One Visit Crowns (CEREC)

Most dental restorative procedures necessitate multiple visits to the dentist. In our office, you can improve your smile in one visit with CEREC crowns. A crown or cap encases a tooth in a material to restore the tooth to its natural strength and full functionality. While some cavities can be treated with fillings, severely damaged or fragile teeth may require crowns. Crowns may also replace a filling that has worn out. The crown strengthens the tooth and smoothes over imperfections to enhance one’s smile. Before a crown is applied, the decayed portion of the tooth is removed. An impression of the tooth is taken so the custom-made crown will fit exactly over the dimensions of the tooth. Finally, it is applied permanently to the tooth, lending support and enhancing the tooth’s appearance.

Panoramic X-Rays

We use panoramic X-ray technology to obtain comprehensive images of the upper and lower jaw from ear to ear. X-ray images help us detect signs of infection or disease in the teeth or gums that are not visible to the natural eye, allowing for early diagnosis and treatment.

Intraoral Camera

An intraoral camera allows us to obtain images throughout the mouth. This technology is helpful in identifying and diagnosing problems in the teeth or gums, such as infection, disease, or decay. Detecting problems early helps us to maintain the health of your mouth.

DIAGNOdent (Early Detection of Tooth Decay)

We use DIAGNOdent, cutting-edge technology, to detect tooth decay before it damages the structure of the tooth. Cavities infect the tooth from the inside out and patients may be unaware there is something wrong with their tooth. Leaving a cavity untreated can cause further problems in the mouth, including the spreading of infection to other teeth, gum disease, and pain. DIAGNOdent lets us identify decay in its earliest stages. Feel free to call us to learn more about what our services can do for your dental health.
